Starting the New Year Off Right

The night started off with me taking pictures at this Sweet Thing's reception...

I took over 200 hundred pictures and this is the only one of Katy and me...and it's blurry for crying out loud!

Seriously, these two are just adorable...ahhhh young love!

Then it was back to my house to finish the night of festivities. A few of us families put together a "Progressive New Years Eve Party". Since I had to do pictures I was the last house. By this time most kids had gone home. These were the die hards that stayed up...

We put on Toy Story 3 for the kiddos so the adults could party upstairs.

We played a violent game of spoons...I broke two fingernails.

We brought the kids upstairs for the countdown...

The ball fell and the couples kissed...

...while the kids high fived each other.

Eden made a special t-sirt for the special occasion. Her T-shirt says... 

"The Red Ball Falls! Good Bye 2010, Hello 2011"

It was a very crazy day and a very busy night, but it was the perfect way to ring in 2011.
