So Much to Blog, So Little Time...

Here's some of the good:
* I painted the entire first floor of my house.
* We planted eleven bushes and one tree in our backyard.
* I am almost finished with my sisters mega home makeover.
* Eden had two birthday parties.
* Grandma Kathy found a doctor that is doing a clinical trial that she qualifies for and he happens to be in Idaho...Yay!
* Our six day Seattle extravaganza...oh the memories that were made.

Here's some of the bad:
* We had to cancel our August 15th sealing. We thought the adoption would be finalized this week...but nope. Long story. Dumb attorney.
* My running injury won't go away.
* We still can't find a pool...we've tried out two that didn't work.
* I still have to paint the second level of my house.
* Evan is in the finals instead of Ade...only "So You Think You Can Dance" fans will understand that pain.

And the ugly:
* Aric passed what we hope is his last kidney stone on Eden's birthday. Nothing like spending the wee hours of the morning in the ER. Thankfully my parents were here so we didn't have to worry about the kids.
* I've been trying to help a baby that was just born, get to it's adoptive parents. The birth dad won't sign consent, the birth mom has had a couple picked out for eight months. They came up to be with her while she gave birth. Then the birth dad decided not to sign. It's a mess. These kids are teenagers. I'm talking high school.
The only reason I am even including this in my post is in the hopes that if you ever find that you are in a position of influence in a situation like this, please counsel them wisely. Adoption is the ONLY option! This baby has a loving home waiting for him. With parents who can support him emotionally, physically, and financially. It is so heartbreaking.

ANYHOO...
I will be back soon with some exciting posts and pictures. In the meantime here is a funny video.

The entire first floor?

And I was proud that I painted our small front room this summer.

I hope your sealing date comes soon and you can put all of this lawyer mumbo jumbo behind you.

That adoption issue is so so sad!! You don't play around when there is a little baby involved. Get over yourself and sign the papers already!

I always am so gung ho about painting and then I start and realize it is a huge job, get bored with it, then Zach always ends up finishing it. :)

You are a good woman!

Sorry about the adoption stuff. I hope it is over soon.

And EVAN? Yes. I feel your pain. I thought he should have been gone a few weeks ago.

Life is good even in the mist of trials. The beautiful children are evidence of that! Camden looks huge(tall). Love the video!

It's hard to see crummy things happen to those we love. However, somehow Heavenly Father gives some good things to help us get through those ugly times. I know good will triumph in the end. Hang in there, your family & your friengs are hanging with you. xoxo

Don't even get me started on Evan/Ade!! Yeah, Evan seems like a nice guy and a pretty good dancer but Ade is sooo much more versatile!

I feel your Ade pain! I wanted Ade and Brandon to be in the finals. For me it has always been between Ade and Brandon. Hellllooo! What happened there? I am so loving Brandon and Jeanine though. I voted for Brandon. I will still never forgive Mia for crushing him like she did. He proved her wrong and I hope he believes it!!!

How did you paint your entire first floor?! I am shocked! With 3 kids one being a baby? You are a machine.

I'm sorry about the adoption frustrations. Seeing my sister in law go through it is hard. She was picked by a family and they backed out. And her husband on his way to work puts pass along cards with their info at all of the bus stops, public restrooms, etc. It's very touching to see how hard they work.

I love how Camden got a hold of Maya's hair at the end. ☺

Sorry about the kidney stone...and the adoption stuff. I can't imagine how hard it must be to wait to be sealed.

I hope and will pray that the baby will be placed with the adoptive parents.
