First we went to watch the Shock play their opening game of the season.
We invited our fun friends the Mark and Cami to join us. Cami was a former cheerleader too. We went through two sets of thunder makers...
A's actual birthday was on a very hectic Monday. By the time the girl's got home from dance it was after 6pm. We went out to eat and then it was homework, showers and bedtime. Not much time to celebrate but we did the best we could.
Even though the festivities weren't spectacular, the day was an important one. Aric is such a great guy and many in this world are blessed by his life....me and my children especially.

The Wrath of Khandrea's comments always make me laugh. in this case, i only laughed at the first two.
Happy birthday Aric! You know, aric's birthday is also the birth of our friendship, right? wasn't it the guns shirt that you got him for his birthday that united us? for that reason (along with the fact that he makes you happy and seems to be one heck of a husband, father, and human being) i am also very grateful for his birthday. We should have a happy birthday aric/friendship party, should we not?

You guys are adorable!! It's great to have such an awesome husband! I feel the same way. Glad you guys were able to do something fun. I always seem to miss my hubby's because we are in Utah and he's in Texas every year.
