One of the WILDEST things I've ever witnessed...

For weeks Aric and I had seen advertisements for a platform diving event and thought it sounded like a crazy thing to go and watch. Sadly Aric had to go to a golf tournament fundraiser for his school so I got  Aunt Carolyn and Roscoe to brave the crowds and go with me and the kids.

We took the train in and walked to the event....this is a one view of Boston on the way over.

This is a cool statue outside of the T-station by the World Trade Center...

First thing we saw was this in the sky...some famous guy named Miles Dasher parachuting in a kayak. My kids remember his name because the announcer said his name like 326 million times! Camden thought is was the coolest thing he had ever seen...

We found a good spot and watched these guys dive, not just jump, but do twists and turns in the air before gracefully landing in the water.

Every dive made me gasp...it was insane.

The crowd was unbelievable. There were people everywhere! It was so lucky that we found a decent spot.

Had to get a picture of the boats...

We had lots of snacks to keep Camden happy, he didn't quite appreciate the diving that was going on as much as the rest of us. Roscoe and Aunt Carolyn were such good sports, they didn't mind this little three year olds crazy behavior...

We literally walked miles and miles that day and the kids were so good about it.

Getting Camden to take a decent picture these days is almost impossible...

Camden's favorite part of the day...taking the train. He uses his "Charlie Card" (the card that you use to get on the train) every time we get off. He thinks he is so grown up.

Once back in Jamaica Plain the kids played at a park for awhile...their energy is unbelievable!

We had a great day. It was a long day but we filled every minute with good stuff. A huge THANK YOU goes out to Aunt Carolyn and Roscoe for being willing to spend their Saturday with me and the kids. It would have been a disaster if I had tried going by myself, going with them made it so much fun!

That diving was UNREAL. I have no idea how they train themselves to dive from those heights. One false move and hitting the water can be like hitting concrete if you don't have your body in the correct position. Whoa.

...the same thing goes for Miles Dasher. How on EARTH did he train himself to do that?!

That looks amazing! We saw some cliff divers in Mexico and this reminded me of that. Those people are seriously crazy. That platform was sooo high. What a fun day!
