Hello. My name is Jessica. I'm a blog-aholic.

The past week has been pretty hairy around here. The bottom line is that I had to ground myself from blogging. I couldn't read blogs which means I couldn't make any comments. And I couldn't check stat counter becuase then I knew I would be tempted to do a post after seeing all of my faithful readers checking and having nothing new to read. The guilt would have been too much.
So what I've learned from having to step back the past few days is that I am a blogaholic. Yup, it's true.
I was dying to find out if Ilene had posted about her first week in her new home. I couldn't wait to hear how bloggapalooza went from Jessica and all the other ladies who went. I wanted to see if Elizabeth had recovered yet from the bad clams and I am so anxious to hear how Melissa is recovering from her surgery. And my life is not complete with out some sort of juicy tidbit from Lindsey or cute pictures of Mahina's kids. The list goes on and on. I would go to bed at night thinking of the things I could have blogged about that day but couldn't. So sad, but so true. Well there you have it, it's out there now, I have acknowledged my addiction and quite frankly I'm happy to be off the wagon.
So here is why I had to ground myself from blogging....

Things usually don't look like this...in fact I don't think things ever have. I decided that having our home study visit was going to be the motivation to get some closets organized once and for all. My mom stayed with me for a few days to keep Eden happy while I went through hundreds of toys, pictures, papers, folders etc...I finished last night at like 11:30pm, it felt so good to finally be done. The problem with projects like that is that you have to make a ridiculous mess before you can even begin to make progress. I should've taken pictures but I couldn't waste precious time on that. But I will tell you it looked like this....

This is from the book "Messy Mark". I love this little book. It is the first book I remember ever reading all by myself when I was in first grade. I had my mom order it from the book order for me. It's a great read, all twenty-eight pages of it. It even has ending that keeps you guessing...

So now our house is clean and organized, ready for a home visit. And I get to blog again, YAY!!!!!

Good job, Jess! That's what I need to do, ground myself from Facebook so I can clean my apartment! :) It looks great, though!

You know who the closet organizer in our house is?? The non-blogger. Stands to reason.

Wow, your organization looks terrific!!

I was resistant to start blogging because I was afraid of the time I would spend doing it. I must limit myself. I can blog during nap time and before bed time.

That is some serious organization there! Nice. My pre-home-visit-cleanliness-and-organization lasted for about 0.2 seconds after Danny left. Nice.

Oooohhh...excellent template. I love it!

Can't wait to hear about your visit!!

I didn't even know your TV armoire was black :) I bet you'll be one of those blog aholics that goes to blogapalooza next year. You're entitled to a new hobby.

I know what you mean...sadly, I am so addicted and it really isn't good. I need to find balance and I don't want to...but, I need to.

Your closets look fabulous! Pat yourself on the back, girlie!

Ah, at least the clean house is not for selling your home or trying to organize a new home. Such a happier reason to clean!

Here's what has happened to me this week: I have unpacked a bizillion boxes and have about 100 more to go.

My biggest news: I went shopping today. It was so exciting to get out of the house that I spent too much money and made a blog post out of it.

Welcome back to blog land. We missed you!
