A little bit of random...

So this is Eden in her very blue, very sparkly, very one of a kind outfit.

She commissioned this shirt shortly after our First Friday party.  I was hoping she would forget about it but after weeks of mind numbing begging, I gave in and made this for her. She is also sporting a new sparkly belt she bought with the valentine's money she got from Grandma Kathy and Papa Ron.

She also told me exactly how to fix her hair.  She wore this outfit to school proudly. Her teacher asked her if it was a dance outfit.

RaNdoM...

This is what happens when Eden decides she wants to take a few pictures:

This is Maya's turn:

She wanted us to make funny faces...Aric wasn't playing. And in case you were wondering...yes I am wearing my down winter coat INSIDE of my house. On any given day between the months of October and March, you will find me from 9am til bedtime in my coat. I am ALWAYS cold.

MoRe RanDoM...

This week was Wacky Week at the Kindergarten Center. Everyday they wore something silly. So Wednesday was "Crazy Hair Day".

EveN mOre RaNdoM...

Eden picked this outfit out for Camden so he could look  like "Troy Bolton" ...the High School Musical guy...

I thought she meant Chad...

...but nope she meant Troy.

Speaking of Troy....

HeRe is OnE LaSt RaNdom ThinG...

I am TOTALLY Hair Hating right now. Seriously,HATING my hair. I'm learning that this hair cut requires MAINTENANCE...I am so LOW maintenance that this REALLY isn't working for me. So now  I look like Troy:

I have manboy hair. Oh...wait...you don't know what manboy hair is? It's older teenage boy hair. The kind of hair that needs combing and lots of hair product.

Like I mentioned before, I'm not a high maintenance kind of girl. And if you want to read up on my Hair Hating  go here. I feel guilty spending money on my hair which is why I trade painting/decorating services for my hair cut/color. These days I don't have a ton of time to be trading services, I can't hardly keep my own house on track! So I am living with my manboy hair, resorting to wearing baseball hats, scarves and hankies.

So there you have it...some RanDoM things from our family to yours.

**Just in case there are any score keepers out there...yes I realize that Maya has not been well represented lately. First of all she's been sick and second, the last two things she has done that have been blog worthy are on video, and we all know I am not so "video on blog" savvy so it's taking some time to figure out how to post them. But don't worry I aware of how unbalanced my posts have been. I'm working on it.

If Eden's wig had been red... she'd be a double for "Annie"

Seriously I've been trying to grow my hair out for like 12 months because like you I hate taking time to do it. Sometimes I just need a quick pony tail.

Thanks for watching our kids last night... it made dinner that much more worth it :) We look forward to Monday!

Too too funny. I can COMPLETELY relate to all of these random things. Always cold-check. Random kid outfits-check. Manboy hair-double check. I am occasionally mistaken for David Spade-so sad.

Jessica,
You make me laugh, "man boy hair". too funny. I am so like you with the hair, way low maintenance. I recently got bangs and worried it would be too much since I have to take 30 seconds to straighten them.
I LOVE that you let Eden wear the sparkly outfit to school. What a fun mom you are. She will truly love you for letting her do that. There is a little girl on Kai's tee ball team that reminds me of her. She is the cutest thing. She's got quite the arm on her too.

THAT was a hilarious post. I loved it. Guess what? I got the clothes! YIPEE! THANK YOU! Guess what else? You TOTALLY have to cut your hair every 4-6 weeks when you have a cute "stylish" cut. :)

Still chuckling over the teacher's commen wondering about Eden's outfit...

I think Chad is cuter than Troy. Except both boys have way too high-maintenance hair.

Camden looks like a total dude in the first picture! What a fun post to read.

BTW, I think your hair is great, but then again, I don't have to live with it 24/7.

Manboy hair?? You are too funny. Where does that come from ? Your hair is so cute.

Camden looks so adorable. He has this baby body but this grown up look on his face. It's so cute.

I love the outfit was chosen so that he would look like Troy :) He does look quite studly. I wonder if he will sing and dance? You don't have manboy hair, you have totally chic, stylish, cool momma hair.

I always worry about unbalanced posts, too. I didn't think yours were unbalanced...just so you know.

I love that you can sew amazing things like that. Eden has style!

You crack me up..."manboy hair". I really want to cut my hair but I am too lazy to have to style it all the time. I think you look fabulous. So much more beautiful than Zac Efron or Joe Jonas.

Jessica your hair is so cute! It doesn't look like a manboy cut! Have you seen the Jonas Brother's hair? I have first graders with Jonas Brother's hair styles and we had head lice a couple of weeks ago. Good Luck to those boys!!

I so heart Troy, you have no idea. So I am LOVING your hair! It is so mod.

I understand about the low maintenance throw it in a ponytail option! Short hair is much more work deceptively so.

don't be so hard on your hair it's so cute! but then again you could shave your head and you would still look beautiful! you're just lucky like that!

How great is that...getting good placenta vibes from across this fine state of ours! I'm all about random pictures....and sparkly belts bought with precious "own" money, and manboy hair. I just spent a pretty penny this morning coloring mine and would love to take the plunge to the manboy level but I just don't think I can pull off short. You my dear....can.
