Snowed In

I figure I should post about our crazy snow before it all melts away.

This is what our house looked like...

The day after we got nailed my brother, Ben, came up from Oregon to visit for a week. He builds houses so the snow kind of put a hold on work so he came to hang with us the week before Christmas.

We kept him busy shoveling snow. He made a sledding hill for the girls in the third stall driveway.

The girls LOVED playing in the Winter Wonderland!

I spent my snow days having lunch with friends...

Ilene came for a visit. It was so fun but way too short. I can't believe that we didn't take a picture with all the babies!

And Kerry had her birthday so we HAD to have lunch in honor of her...

But the truth is, I really spent the majority of my snow days taking care of my two guys...

I have had enough snow days to last me the rest of winter. The problem is, it's only the beginning of JANUARY! I have a feeling there will be more snow days to come...

I can't believe how much snow you guys have gotten!! We never ever even saw close to that much in our 5 years there. How fun for your girls to get to play and sled in it :) I bet Camden can't wait to get out there with the girls in a year or so!

I am so jealous! I am STILL waiting for our big snow. Looks like you were not at a loss for fun things to do during the snow.

I heard on the news this morning that you've had record snow this winter! Spokane usually gets 52inches and this year you already have 78 in. WOW!! I miss the skiing!! I have found memories of snow hills like the ones Eden and Maya are on! We also used to make igloos and play in them all day!

It looks really cozy. I do love cozy. I'm happy that you took a breather or two to take a break from the crazy things you have been dealing with. Hooray for lunch dates.

That is nuts!! We had a storm/storms like that a few years ago and it was INSANE.

That pic of Aric and Camden is priceless! So cute. :)

i can't believe how much snow the northwest has gotten this year! as much as i love snow, i am kind of glad we left before it hit. our house is on a BIG hill and our driveway is crazy with ice and snow on it. we would have been soooo stir crazy not being able to go anywhere! we had some snow here and then it all melted which was good enough for us!

looks like you took advantage of all the snow and friends around!

Wow. That is LOT of snow! Please don't send us any more. I want to be done with snow.

Um, I specifically asked Aric to take a picture of us from our waists up. I clearly was not sucking in.

Obviously I enjoyed lunch a little too much.

It was so good seeing you all! Sometimes it is good to get a picture of us without a baby every now and again.

Now you know how I live every winter...I get tired of it fast but I do love the four seasons! Your girls look super happy. Snow keeps my kids busy for at least an hour per big storm.

Wow!

And that is why I live down South!! :)

It did look fun though! That sledding hill would be a HUGE hit with my kids!

Those are great pictures! The girls sure look like they're having fun. Love the the child labor, the rosy cheeks and the snoozing fellows. I'm glad you had some "girlfriend time". It would have been nice to see a mom/baby picture, but not all pictures of mothers need to include "attachments". And you know how I love the babies! :)
