Never Too Old For A Tea Party

This was too sweet not to document...

One night the girls made me an invitation to a tea party in their room and this is what I found:

I was so impressed with how elaborate and creative their set up was and even more impressive was how they worked together to do it. That RARELY happens.

I got a little emotional when I realized they had set up a place for GK. They also set out all the dolls and bears they had gotten from her. It was so precious that it got me all teared up.

The centerpiece was a book that GK gave them and a music box/snow globe that some dear friends gave them when GK died. For food they served dry roasted peanuts, jerky, red vines, apples and orange juice...it was one of the sweetest things ever and I wanted to make sure I never forgot it.

Thats really sweet and I bet GK was right there at her setting enjoying every second. Since the move, my kids have gotten along better too. They haven't met anyone else to hang out with so they have each other.
I miss you! Hurry up Fall!!!
